Free Classes for our members at Meet-up.com

We offer one free informal class/mentoring session per month while we research and develop a formal teaching curriculum for the future. This “Open Shop Day” is through our Meet-up group Blunt Woodworks” at http://www.meetup.com/Blunt-Woodworks-friends/ This group is for anyone who loves to work wood, trade woodworking knowledge and cool designs, and is interested in learning in a professional environment.

“Open Shop Day” is a lightly structured program that includes a specific design to be built during one or two sessions, opportunity to build your own project design, general training on tool use, and both group and individual instruction. Attendees may choose which, if any of the above they wish to participate in, propose their own idea, or simply observe and socialize.
